Antenna Build Two: DB4 Takes Off

This is my second antenna build using scraps leftover from the Stealth Hawk (SH) project. As simple as the SH was, I still wanted more pull from the antenna to get a more consistent signal. The DB4 did the trick. A little more work to build, but it is has the ability to grab weaker signals more often (a test yielded 22 channels versus the 14 off the SH, quite an improvement). The most I got out of the SH was 28 channels, I hope to break that record one day depending on the weather. Time will tell…. Yes, those are one-dollar BBQ grills from the dollar store. CHEAP-ass DIY-yeah!
